Animal Research Carts
 Lab Animal Research (LAR) Carts —
LAR Feed Carts (at right shown with options) are designed to store and transport animal feed. Stainless steel finish provides superior corrosion resistance, while compact footprint makes it easy to maneuver in and around tight lab spaces. Clear totes provide easy identification of tote contents.
Lab Security Cart (shown below with optional accessories) provides secure storage for animal cage, lab instrument, or hazardous chemical transport. Solid stainless steel shelf with raised ship's edge can be used as a work surface and can contain unwanted spills.
 • Super Erecta Shelf Construction makes units easy to assemble with absolute rigidity, and makes relocation of shelves quick and simple.
• Wire Shelves: Bright, modern, sanitary appearance. Open construction minimizes dust accumulation, maximizes visibility and air circulation.
• Casters: Light duty, 4" (102mm) resilient rubber casters are included with Catalog Number HLAR1X. While 5" (127mm) polyurethane tread casters are included with Catalog Number HLAR2X and HSECMLAB.
• Clear Totes: Each cart comes with either one (HLAR1) or two (HLAR2) clear totes for clean and secure animal feed storage. A snap-on cover is included with each 12" (305mm) deep tote.
• Cover Holder: A convenient tote cover holder comes standard with each cart. Attaches easily to wire shelf and takes up minimal space.
• Donut Bumpers included with casters.
• Height: 38" (965mm) floor to handle with 4" (102mm) casters; 39" (990mm) floor to handle with 5" (127mm) casters.
• Accessories: A wide variety of Super Erecta-based accessories to choose from.

Cart load rating is based upon an evenly distributed load.
Part No. HLAR1 features four HL4D swivel casters with resilient rubber tread. Part No. HLAR2 features four H5MP series swivel casters with polyurethane tread.
Lab security cart features two stainless steel wire shelves, one stainless steel security module, and one stainless steel solid shelf. Cart comes standard with two braking casters part no> H5MPB and two swivel casters part no. H5MP.
Accessories
Durable, clear totes provide clean and secure storage for animal feed. Totes are injection-molded from clear, polypropylene material, are stackable, and can be combined with clear snap-on covers and cardholders for security and identification of contents.
Cover Holder
Stainless steel wire cover holder provides a convenient storage option for tote box covers when not in use. Accessory easily mounts on any Super Erecta based wire shelf.
