Stem Caster Carts — Open-Grid Shelves
with *Microban Anti microbial Product Protection
The MetroMax Storage System is by far the most revolutionary and advanced system of its kind in the marketplace today. Incredibly strong, with materials that are backed by a lifetime warranty against corrosion, MetroMax has interchangeable solid and open-grid mats, which give it unequaled versatility. MetroMax shelf mats have built-in Microban anti microbial product protection. Microban protects the shelf mats from bacteria, mold, mildew and fungi that cause odors, stains and product degradation.
• Strong and Durable: Reinforced polymers give MetroMax incredible strength — 800 lbs. (375kg) per shelf up to 48" (1220mm) length and 600 lbs. (275kg) per shelf up to 72" (1825mm) long. And shelves won't mark or crease.
• Corrosion and Rust Proof: MetroMax has a lifetime warranty against corrosion and rust, so it is perfect for damp, humid conditions as well as dry storage.
• Fast, Easy Assembly: MetroMax assembles easily in minutes, without tools. Posts have numbered grooves at 1" (25mm) increments, with 1⁄2" (13mm) increment adjustment. Shelf wedge lock connectors, with window and pointer to locate desired post groove, snap onto posts.
• Removable Mats: Solid and open-grid mats remove and interchange in seconds. The mats have built-in Microban anti microbial product protection. They remain cleaner between cleanings.
• Smooth, Flat Surfaces: MetroMax's smooth polymer surfaces protect shelf contents from unwanted damage and are easy to clean and maintain.
• Completely Mobile: MetroMax systems can quickly become mobile by simply removing the leveling foot and adding any standard Metro stem caster (see catalog sheet 11.20). For applications where thresholds are crossed on a regular basis, aluminum or stainless steel dollies can be used with standard stationary MetroMax posts. MetroMax's polymer construction is noise-resistant in mobile applications.
• Easy to Clean and Maintain: Shelf mats lift off the shelf frame for cleaning away from the site, so there is far less risk of contaminating stored products with cleaning chemicals. Open grid shelf mats, in 12" (305mm) and 18" (457mm) lengths, can be removed individually and fit easily into the dishwasher. Solid one-piece shelf mats contain spills and have surface ribs to prevent products from sticking to the shelf. Shelf frame and posts have smooth, rounded surfaces and wipe down easily and quickly.
• Adaptable: A wide range of accessories such as shelf dividers, stackable ledges, drawers and slides, rods and tabs, bin markers, and more, let you customize MetroMax to your exact needs. By using "S" hooks, a multitude of problem solving configurations are possible, while eliminating the cost of two posts. See Catalog Sheet 9.05 for more information.
• Adjustable: Shelves are adjustable at 1" (13mm) increments along the height of the numbered posts. A leveling foot at the bottom of each post compensates for irregular floor surfaces.
